Exploring Barcelona

While seeing a conference adapted Barcelona might be for some people, others will want to take this opportunity to see what this city has to offer. We know that here at NetoPartners, we will be tasting the local cuisine and visiting some of the main attractions to see what is on offer.

Many people visit Barcelona every year to see the interesting districts and catch a glimpse of the Spanish culture. You cannot visit Barcelona without strolling down Las Ramblas which comes with street performers, living statues, food and plenty of shops for you to enjoy. We also suggest that you take some time out of your trip to visit the Sagrada Família which is an incredibly tall church building that's considered a masterpiece. If you do want to visit the beach and relax a little after the conference, then make sure to add the City Beaches to your list. The beachfront boardwalk is miles long and there are plenty of shops, sandy beaches and bars with terraces that you can take advantage of. We highly recommend walking along the beach as you will see a lot of the city as you go.

Also, on our list of must-see things in Barcelona include Casa Batlló, Casa Milà and La Boqueria. You will be amazed by the Boqueria market which has been around since medieval times. Not only is there plenty of fruit, vegetables and cold meats to choose from, you can also enjoy some hot food and take in the atmosphere at this location. Football fans can take a tour around Camp Nou or see a match if there happens to be one on! The tour is usually not available around the days when a match is on so make sure to have a look at the calendar and book your tickets for the tour if you want to see this incredible sight.

If you have never been to Barcelona before then you will be captivated by the food and the atmosphere in this location. Spanish food is known around the world with each province having their own take on some of the classic and tapas dishes. When you are at AWE, you’ll find plenty of authentic food, but it doesn’t hurt to take some time out to enjoy some of the local restaurants in this city. Typical Catalan dishes include lots of seafood and squid ink which you will love. You must also make sure to try Mandonguilles amb sípia which consists of some meatballs that have been cooked with cuttlefish in a gravy sauce.

If you really want to see what this city has to offer, then make sure to try out a food tour if you have time before or after the conference. You’ll get a taste for the local cuisine and get to support some of the local businesses while you are there.

Many people visit Barcelona for the vibrant nightlife, and you’ll be sure to find some time to see what all of the fuss is about if you book a few extra days outside of the conference. Las Ramblas is a good place to start as this location turns into a tourist hotspot with plenty of places to eat and drink as the night goes on. You might also want to visit the Gothic Quarter or the Plaza Real if you are looking for some fun nightlife to get involved in during your trip to Barcelona next week.

Needless to say though that the best place to be if you want to have some REAL fun is at the AAH party! Which is, of course, where we will be. You can join us and enjoy some true Barcelona nightlife not only with other marketers but also the locals when the club opens up to the public at midnight. Don't worry, we get to keep our VIP tables all night long, so you'll have a spot to come back to even when the club gets extra hot and crowded!

Meet NetoPartners There

We are so excited for the AWE and the AAH that we wish it was coming around sooner than it is! We've already started counting down the days to see you all there.

You can find our team at booth B14 throughout both days of the show, ready to explore all the possibilities of making lots of money together.

But if you’d rather meet us in a more relaxed setting, we will be hosting affiliates at our VIP tables for an all-inclusive party experience at the AAH.

* This is by invitation only so make sure to contact us in advance to get on the list.

Hasta luego amigos!
